Sassoferrato rare original madonna oil painting 1630
Up for auction we have very rare painting from Giovanni Battista Salvi, also known as Sassoferrato. The painting portray the famous Madonna painted in oil on glass, very rare for Sassoferrato, given that most of the paintings from him are done in oil on canvas ,Engraving and black chalk on paper. The painting is set in solid wood gilded frame, the frame is signed on the back with Sassoferrato + 1685 (Madonna in moment der verkundigung) - in German to the best of my Knowledge it would translate to “Madonna at the Moment of the Proclamation”. The small paper attached on the back has text in German: to the best of my Knowledge it would translate to “Madonna reviled in that moments of the Proclamation. Portrait picture shows expression of the face that is done marvelously, bursting with Loveliness and innocence. The painting is extremely delicate Oil on glass 5” high x 6” wide”. Also two dates are writhen on the paper on the left corner is 1605 and on the right is 1685.
Date of Creation: Pre-1900.

The seller:
This is a very rare work from the famous artist Pablo Ruiz Picasso. I get this painting over a privat contact in France many years ago and I would like to sell it over this way. (I guess it is an experiment) The painting is in perfect condition and it was new framed at the end of the last century in a great gallery. Please have a look at the very fine one colours and the beautiful appeal. This work is really a typical one Picasso painting and this is, what it makes very special and extreme rare. I hope it will find over this way an new owner. Please only serious people.
artfakes.dk:
No, my dear. This is NOT a rare work from the famous artist Pablo Ruiz Picasso.
It's a fake. And you know that.

Mr. Goldberg otherwise known as goldielox2 (how come I don't feel a sense
of "gildness" here?) is in full swing selling grandpa’s false paintings.
His grandfather, Joseph Goldberg, was born 1881 in Russia. He died in the U.S.A. in 1946.

Many auction houses are selling Wladyslaw Chmielinski forgeries. Chmielinski is one of the world’s most used artists exposed to faking. The two paintings shown above are both falsifications. Just now they are exhibited for sale at the Danish auction house www.lauritz.com. The lower part of the paintings is indeed to be sold as a genuine Chimkinsky, but this is due to the fact that the auction house cannot read the Polish signature, which quite obviously one has tried to imitate as a Chmielinski. There is no painter by the name of Chimkinsky.
